VARANASI: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath stated that Kashi exemplifies how India’s rich heritage can be combined with modernity on Friday, December 17, at the All IndiaMayors conference. He added that the city provides for all modern facilities while preserving the city’s age-old tale, all have been due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts.

Because of the efforts of the honorable Prime Minister, the city has been transformed.”

For a city to become a smart city, he stressed the significance of having an Integrated Control and Command Center (ICCC) as well as integrated traffic management. He noted the ICCC’s responsibility in security management during the Kumbh fair in this context.

He stated that under the AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Transformation), the best facilities were being constructed in 60 cities in Uttar Pradesh and that 17.5 lakh people had received houses under the PM Awas Yojana, and that LED lights were illuminating 16 lakh areas in the state.
