CRRI to redesign major Noida roads

NOIDA: Noida roads could soon see major changes to improve traffic flow as the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) will soon be suggesting ways to accommodate more traffic on the roads on the basis of their survey. Noida authorities have roped in CRRI to conduct a study on three major stretches of the city. The inspection of Master Plan One Road was conducted on Monday, February 3. The second corridor for inspection would be DSC Road and the third would be Road number 6 from NH-24 to Sector 71/72.

Officials have further added that the city authorities will also be considering development of an elevated road over Shahdra drain.

The institute would be submitting the report in three months.

The traffic redirection would consider remodel U-turns and traffic lights among some other issues that would be fixed as well.
