CM inaugurates projects worth Rs 271 crore for Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel on Monday, March 21, laid foundation and inaugurated housing and development projects worth Rs 271 crore for the city of Ahmedabad. He inaugurated Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Odhav, Indiranagar and dedicated the development projects worth Rs 271 crore to the city. He mentioned that the Government of Gujarat aims to provide permanent housing to the poor living in the slums.

CM Patel also inaugurated housing projects worth Rs 179 crore, water supply projects worth Rs 47 crore, and heritage projects worth Rs 1 crore. He dedicated 1610 houses and 52 shops to the people under the projects.

He added that food, clothing, and housing are the basic needs of a common man and that the state government is committed to provide these to its people. He added that the state government is developing various plans to meet the needs of the poor and the middle class. During the inauguration event, Vinod Mordia, Minister of State for Urban Development, Government of Gujarat, said that the benefits being extended to several beneficiaries right now will be extended to other beneficiaries in the state in future.
