GURGAON, Haryana: Commissioner and Secretary of the Department of Urban Local Bodies, Vikas Gupta, has directed all civic bodies in the state to prepare a sanitation plan.
The plan will include an assessment of the ward-wise population, resources, and manpower required for door-to-door waste collection and secondary waste management. The commissioner has also directed the municipalities to utilize the expertise of agencies involved in the e-waste management sector for disposing of e-waste. Gupta said, “The city should set up processing facilities as per their waste production. A city-specific sanitation plan should be prepared by all the municipalities.
