JAIPUR: Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister, Rajasthan has announced that the government has decided to defer power and water bills for industrial units, farmers and common people by two months. The move is aimed at easing the burden on the public caused by the financial slowdown as a consequence of outbreak of Corona virus and subsequent lockdown. As per government estimates, nearly 1,68,000 consumers of small, medium and big industries stand to benefit from the said decision. Meanwhile, payment of common consumers’ water and electricity bills for the months of March and April has been relaxed by the government and payment for the same can be made in the month of June.
