Gadkari launches 17 road projects worth Rs 25,000 cr JAIPUR, Rajasthan: Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, took part in the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony for 17 road projects with a collective investment of more than Rs 25,000 crore. Gadkari inaugurated various projects including construction work of 6-lane Chittorgarh-Udaipur section costing Rs 11 crore, construction work of 2-lane paved of 44 km Beawar-Asind section costing Rs 206 crore, construction of 2 lane paved shoulder of 43 km Asind-Mandal section at a cost of Rs 104 crore, construction of 4-lane of 14-km Beawar-Gomati section (Baghana to Mada Ki Bassi) at a cost of Rs 104 crore, and construction of 4-lane of 16-km from Bhamrasiya at a cost of Rs 14 crore. The inauguration event saw the presence of other distinguished guests, including VK Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport, Government of India, and Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister of the Government of Rajasthan, among others.
