GURUGRAM: Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG) has decided to discuss the finalized agenda of 16 key projects suggested by the municipal councilors. The agenda will be discussed at the fifth House meeting, today.
The Central Government has directed the corporation to discuss on the proposal. The discussion for proposed agenda would come with the new plan to become Gurugram the plastic-free city.
“The housing meeting is expected to finalize the projects worth Rs 4.7 crore”, officials said.
The MCG officials will also take up initiatives to spread awareness among peoples to ensure minimum use of plastic products.
Apart from this, the House would also discuss the proposal to changing the name of Old Delhi Road, setting up community centre and development of old schools into modern educational Institutions. The House will also discuss the proposal to set up a CNG station in Begampur Khatola.
MCG officials said the authority is also planning to digitalize government-run schools in the city under digital India campaign and improve facilities provided to students.
