Meghalaya CM launches WhatsApp platform for public grievance

SHILLONG: Conrad K Sangma, Chief Minister of Meghalaya launched the Chief Minister’s WhatsApp platform for public grievance so that the citizens of the state can post their problems directly to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister launched the WhatsApp platform on the occasion of 47th Statehood day. The WhatsApp number that is been floated by the CM office is 9436394363.

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India was also present on the occasion. He greeted the people of Meghalaya and said, “People of Meghalaya have made a notable contribution to our country. I pray for Meghalaya’s regular progress.”

On this occasion of 47th Statehood day, Chief Minister said, “The WhatsApp platform will help the people to express their problems and concerns directly to the chief minister’s office so that their problems can be addressed.”

The CM said that there will be a dedicated team to monitor this platform and they will receive the complaints and will share the received information to the concerned departments.
