‘E-Daakhil’ portal launched for the consumers from Mizoram

AIZAWL, Mizoram: K Lalrinliana, Minister of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Government of Mizoram, launched ‘E-Daakhil’- an online portal to address the grievances of consumers from the state of Mizoram.

‘E – Daakhil’ portal allows the consumers to file complaints from the comfort of their homes. Thus, eliminating the need to visit the office of the Consumer Commission. Also, it allows the complainant to pay the fee for complaints regarding goods and services exceeding the value of Rs 5 lakh.

A consumer could also examine the status of his online complaint and it also provides easy access to people in rural areas since it is linked to the Common Service Centres.

David Lalthantluanga, Secretary of Consumer Affairs, K. Lalrohlua, Joint Secretary of FCS&CA, V. Laldinsanga, Registrar of State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and representatives of Mizoram Consumer’s Union were also present during the launch. The function was virtually attended by the members of District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commissions of other districts, representatives from Computerisation and Computer Networking of Consumer Commissions in Country (CONFONET) and the District Civil Supplies Officer (DCSO).
