Delhi govt to adopt kids orphaned due to the pandemic

NEW DELHI: The Government of NCT of Delhi is soon to announce a policy where it will provide free education and bear the expenses of the children who have lost their parents to COVID-19. According to sources, the policy will involve all the upbringing expenses of the kids and it is in its final stage.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced earlier that for various children who have lost both their parents due to COVID-19, the government will bear all the expenses. He also added that the Delhi government will also take care of the elderly people who have lost young members of their family.
