RAIPUR: Bhupesh Baghel, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, started on his constituency-wise visit titled ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’ to inspect and evaluate the status of the government schemes in the state. His visit started from Balrampur, the tribal dominated district, where he interacted with public inquiring about the efficiency of government schemes. He was accompanied by Shivkumar Dahariya, the state’s Urban Administration Minister.
The CM’s first visit was Kusmi Nagar Panchayat in Samri Assembly constituency, which is at a distance of about 400 kilometers from the capital Raipur. The CM ordered suspension of the Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) of Kusmi Nagar Panchayat when he visited a fair price shop, after a woman’s complaint regarding the ration card.
The CM also visited schools and also interacted with the locals at the chaupal. Several announcements were made for Kusmi during this visit, including setting up of potato and chilli processing plants and anew ITI building.
The CM plans to cover 90 constituencies on his inspection visit.
