Who is responsible for maintenance of Mumbai-Goa highway:HC

MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court has directed the Maharashtra government to make it clear that who is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Mumbai-Goa National Highway? Judge AS Oak and Judge Riaz Chagla have also asked the state government to explain what steps have been taken to repair the pitchers on this highway and also tell them that they have notified this about the Indian National Highway Authority NHAI)

The court has given these instructions on the hearing of a PIL. It is worth noting that thousands of people are disturbed by many piers on this highway and their lives are in danger. Due to heavy rains, these potholes have become on the road. It has been said in the petition that heavy traffic will increase in the coming days in this part of the highway because people will be more in Konkan due to Ganeshotsav.
