NEW DELHI: United Nations – Water celebrates World Toilet Day on November 19 every year to draw global attention to sanitation crisis. As part of the World Toilet Day 2021 celebrations, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, is set to launch a week-long awareness campaign on Safai Mitra Surakhsa Challenge. The challenge started from November 14 and will go on till November 20. The World Toilet Organisation was founded on November 19, 2001.
