The civic body of Vadodara is to provide houses to its sanitation workers under the housing schemes meant for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the society. Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) will be giving preference to those who apply for these properties. VMC commissioner Vinod Rao said, “We are providing housing to the needy across the city and want that even ‘safaisevaks’ should get their own houses”.
