LUCKNOW, Uttar Pradesh: The Government of Uttar Pradesh is training civic officials to use new technology to construct cost-effective and environment-friendly roads under CM Grids Scheme.
The Department of Urban Development organised a technical training programme in the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies where ULB officials were introduced to new techniques of road construction, including FDR, to make the roads environment-friendly and reduce construction costs. Chief engineers of the 16 urban local bodies attended the session, where they shared their own experiences as well.
Amrit Abhijat, Prinicipal Secretary, Department of Urban Development, hailed the CM Grids scheme for stressing the importance of green roads in the state.
