UP govt to install rooftop solar at Lucknow HC

LUCKNOW, Uttar Pradesh: The Government of Uttar Pradesh has approved a proposal to install rooftop solar panels in the complex of Lucknow High Court with an aim to boost renewable energy and reduce carbon footprint. The government has sanctioned a budget of ₹6.31 crore for this project.

An official informed, “The decision for a rooftop solar plant for high court was taken as part of a green energy project.”

Earlier, the state government also decided to develop 17 municipal corporations as solar cities and install a 40MW solar plant in Ayodhya.
