LUCKNOW: In anticipation that a vaccine for COVID-19 will be available early next year, Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has directed senior officials of the state government to make all necessary arrangement for the smooth and efficient administration of the vaccine, whenever it is made available to the general public.
While addressing a meeting of senior state officials, he said that all preparations for the vaccination should be done in advance while keeping in mind inter-departmental coordination. A strong arrangement of the cold chain for vaccine preservation should be ensured in all districts by December 15. In view of the large population of the state, Yogi Adityanath also asked officials to ensure adequate availability of vaccinators.
