RANCHI: Banna Gupta, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, on Monday, January 11, said that the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Jharkhand are directed to identify residents with co-morbidities that are in need of COVID-19 vaccine.
Gupta told the reporters that they have estimated that there are approximately 70 lakh people who are above and below 50 years of age and living with underlying health issues. These are the people who will be prioritised and required to be given the COVID-19 vaccine. Before the registration starts, all the ULBs are to identify such people through surveys.
