NEW DELHI: Managing Director of DMRC, Mangu Singh, flagged off the test runs of Pink line between the IP Extension and Maujpur. It’s a long stretch of 10.47km.
Trial run between Majlis Park and South Campus is already on.
IP Extension-Maujpur consists of nine elevated stations — IP Extension, Anand Vihar, Karkardooma, Karkardooma Court, Krishna Nagar, East Azad Nagar, Welcome, Jaffrabad and Maujpur.
During these test runs, testing of various subsystems of coaches shall be done and also the interface of the Metro train will be checked to ensure that there is no physical infringement with civil infrastructure during the movement of the train on the track.
This section has three interchange stations at Anand Vihar, Karkardooma and Welcome.

It is nice and exciting to hear this news , now since start of trial and testing more than 65 days have passed,no further developments news have come,so pl advise us the latest stage of development and expected date of start of metro train on this route.
