CHENNAI, Tamil Nadu: In Tamil Nadu, an order has been issued, in line with the direction of Chief Minister M K Stalin, stating that area sabha meetings in the municipal corporations, municipal councils and town panchayats will be held four times in a year. These meetings will be held on January 25, April 14, September 15 and December 10. In this regard, a press release has been issued on Tuesday, May 23.
January 25 coincides with National Voters’ Day, April 14 with the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar, September 15 with the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister C N Annadurai and December 10 with International Human Rights Day.
