THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On Wednesday, December 1, the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) published a document on various development projects being implemented in the district as part of the ‘Awake Trivandrum’ project. The document was released by Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan.
The document includes projects initiated by the state government and the Government of India along with the public-private partnership projects. It also contains details about almost 250 projects that are worth more than Rs 31,000 crores. ‘Awake Trivandrum’ is an association of over 70 professionals, businesses, and mass organisations in the district that will implement the five-year action plan.
S N Raghuchandran Nair, President, Trivandrum Project, TCCI, said that they are aiming to ensure support of the people, traders, and business communities in the development process by introducing a new concept of government-public partnership for development of the capital city. The goal is also to bring this region up to the international standards by 2026.
