Delhi to get two new Metro lines at Rs 8,399 cr project cost NEW DELHI: The Government of India has approved the development of two new Delhi Metro corridors which will connect Lajpat Nagar, to G Block in Saket and Inderlok to Indraprastha at a project cost of Rs 8,399 crore which will be sourced from the central government, and international funding agencies. The two lines – Inderlok-indraprastha will comprise of 12 kms rail line and Lajpat Nagar- Saket by 8 kms rail line, which will be ready for public use by March 2026.The 'Inderlok-Indraprastha corridor' will be an extension of the Green Line and will provide interchange with the Red, Yellow, Airport Line, Magenta, Violet and Blue Lines, while the 'Lajpat Nagar-Saket G Block corridor' will connect the Silver, Magenta, Pink and Violet Lines.
