Yogi unveils Rs 1878 cr development projects; forecasts India to become 3rd largest economy GORAKHPUR, Uttar Pradesh: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 76 development projects worth Rs 1,878 crore in Gorakhpur. While addressing the crowd, CM Yogi mentioned that the country is expected to become the third-largest economy in the world during the third term of the Modi government. “Becoming the third largest economy means the income of every person in the country will increase manifold. This will also ensure 100 per cent saturation of every public welfare scheme,” he said. He highlighted that the country has transformed in the last ten years and has jumped from being the world’s eleventh to the fifth-largest economy in the world. The CM laid the foundation stone for 25 projects and inaugurated 51 projects, including the New Township Rapti Nagar Extension and sports city. He distributed allotment certificates to the street vendors who got kiosks in Naya Savera. He stated that the country is connected with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India and with that the vision will be fulfilled through ‘Developed Uttar Pradesh’.
