NEW DELHI: Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General, World Health Organisation (WHO), said that the pandemic can be overcome quickly if the right measures are undertaken in the right way. While speaking on Monday, October 12, at the Financial Times’ online Africa Summit, he warned that if these measures are not followed strictly, the pandemic may continue to stay on for a long time. He added that a vaccine is expected to be successfully tested by the end of 2020 or early next year.
