PANAJI: To improve Goa’s transport infrastructure and urban mobility, the Government of Goa has decided to set up a task force. The operations of the task force will be in alignment with the central government’s Transport4All challenge. The aim of the task force would be to come up with digital innovations that improve the transport system in the state.
Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited has been asked to manage the Trasport4All digital innovation challenge. They will be forming a task force that might include board agencies, NGOs and stakeholders.
The task force will be communicating with the stakeholders via surveys and consultations, to identify their concerns. As part of the task force’s responsibilities, startups will be encouraged and incentivized for coming up with advanced solutions that address the concerns of commuters.
The Ministry for Housing and Urban Affairs launched the Transport4All challenge for smart cities to restructure the transport infrastructure and provide digital innovations.
