Rajasthan govt upgrades municipal councils into corporation

JAIPUR, Rajasthan: The Government of Rajasthan has upgraded two municipal councils, Bhilwara and Pali, into municipal corporations. Similarly, the Pushkar Nagar Palika, Lalsot Nagar Palika, and Shahpura (Jaipur) Nagar Palika have also been upgraded into Municipal Councils on Monday, September 2.

Also, the village panchayats in Kudi Bhagtasani and Tinwari in Jodhpur, Jamwaramgarh in Jaipur, Sultana, Jakhal, and Dundlod in Jhunjhunu, and Sayla in Jalore have been upgraded into fourth-class municipalities. The local bodies in Mahwa (Dasusa), Taranagar (Churu), Losal (Sikar), and Bandikui (Dausa) have also been promoted.
