PSCDCL stated that the main aim of the project is design friendly streets for pedestrians and disabled people with provision of Smart Elements, green railings at median,raised crossings for speed breakers,MSEB feeder pillars covered with perforated sheet screen shutters,provision of music,games on wide footpaths, street sculptures, proper sitting arrangement and concrete bollard footpaths.
Earlier, this project was presented by officials at a global event in Chicago, USA, in the month of October-November 2017.The event ‘Designing Cities 2017: Chicago’ was organized by National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO).
