Puducherry Smart City signs pact with Nippon Koei India Pvt. Ltd.

PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry Smart City Development Ltd. (PSCDL) on November 30, signed a contractual agreement with Nippon Koei India Pvt. Ltd. for implementing the Smart City project in the city.
The agreement was signed by Abhijit Vijay Chaudhary, chief executive officer of PSCDL, and G. Sampath Kumar, director of Nippon Koei India Pvt Ltd., in the presence of V. Narayanasamy,Chief Minister of Puducherry, A. Namassivayam, Public Works Minister and Chief Secretary Ashwani Kumar at the Legislative Assembly.
The Nippon Koei India Pvt. Ltd. will be responsible for the design and implement of the project over a period of three years. It will be working as project management consultant for the PSCDL.
