BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik will be inaugurating Odisha’s longest bridge in Cuttack district on Monday, December 20. The bridge will connect Bhubaneswar to Badamba-Narasinghpur.

Through this bridge, the Government of Odisha aims at benefiting over 5 lakh citizens. The by-pass bridge, named as ‘T-Bridge’, called for an investment of Rs 111 crore. Through the construction of this bridge, the commute between Gopinathpur-Singhanath and Pitha-Baideswar would get reduced by over 45 km.

The officials have informed that the bridge is shaped like English letter ‘T’. CM Patnaik will also be launching the Mukhyamantri Vaayu Swasthya Seva, an air health facility operating out of Biju Patnaik International Airport.

Doctors would be able to access remote areas and provide health services to patients through air ambulances. The pilot stage of the initiative will be launched in four districts- Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Nuapada, and Nabarangpur.
