BHUBANESWAR: The government of Odisha has taken numerous measures over the years to ensure the development of the state.  Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said on Sunday, December 26, while addressing the session of CHEMCON-2021 with the captivating theme, “Sustainable utilisation of resources for chemical and mineral sector.”

He further stated that Odisha has been advancing on the path of industrial growth, fueled by the metals and minerals industry. “As we look towards the future, we’ve made aggressive attempts to diversify the state’s industrial portfolio. As a result, the government has designated the chemicals and petrochemicals industry as a priority. “Using the mantra of ‘infrastructure-led development’,” Odisha is establishing a Petroleum, Chemicals, and Petrochemicals Investment Region in Paradeep, as well as port-related industrial complexes in Dhamra and Gopalpur, which will help the state’s chemical sector grow, according to CM Patnaik.

CM Patnaik also urged the entrepreneurs present at the event to come forward and explore Odisha for the next investment stop with a floating promise of providing the best-in-class facilitation and conducive environment for growth.
