NOIDA: The work on the three underground parking lots coming up in Noida is nearing completion. The parking lots will offer parking space to more than 1,300 cars, said Noida Authority officials on May 17.
The ₹141.23 crore multi-storey parking lots, will come up in Sector 1, 2 and 3, which are facing traffic congestion issues due to roadside parking of vehicles, said a senior official.
The Sector 1 will have a parking lot built at an estimated cost of Rs 47.26 crore. The facility will have space for 534 cars in an area of 17,160 sq metres and is scheduled to get completed by this year end, said Rajeev Tyagi, Noida Authority’s General Manager. “Work is also underway for a ₹61.82 crore parking in Sector 2 which will have space for 565 cars in an area of 18,273 sq metres,” Tyagi added. The project is expected to be completed by October end, this year.
