NEW DELHI: Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, approved five infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Gadkari approved the proposal to make a 6-lane Kantakapalle-Sabbavaram section of (National Highway) NH-130CD worth Rs 824.29 crore and also the development of a 6-lane Korlam-Kantakapalle section of NH-130CD worth Rs 772.70 crore.
Gadkari approved the work of widening and strengthening to 4-lane urban link of NH-42 in Ananthapur town worth Rs 311.93 crore in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He also gave a green light to the 2/4 laning of Raebareli-Jagdishpur section of NH-330A worth Rs 720.81 crore in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Other projects approved by Gadkari include Muzaffarnagar to Miranpur section of NH-709AD, which is worth Rs 928.55 crore, and Bijnor-Kotawali section of NH-709AD worth Rs 300.59 crore in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
