NEW DELHI: National Hydro Power Corporation Private Limited (NHPC) and Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, August 24. This MoU was signed with a view of expanding NHPC’s energy portfolio in hydroelectric power projects development.
This MoU will facilitate knowledge and technology transfer towards sustainable development of Green Energy Projects. Moreover, under this MoU, PFC will extend their financial assistance to the projects being developed and to be developed by NHPC. PFC will provide support to NHPC in joint ventures as well as stressed projects. The MoU was signed by V K Maini, Executive Director, NHPC, and Subir Saha, Executive director, PFC. As per the MoU, NHPC will provide expert advice on ongoing hydro projects funded by PFC and will help assist in hydroelectric projects undertaken by PFC.
