SAMBALPUR, Odisha: Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects worth over ₹68,000 crores.
Among the notable initiatives was the unveiling of the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management, Sambalpur, constructed at a cost of ₹400 crores. Alongside, Modi also unveiled several infrastructure projects across various sectors such as power, roads and railways.
He also inaugurated the 412 km Dhamra-Angul pipeline section of the Jagdishpur-Haldia and Bokaro-Dhamra pipeline project (JHBDPL), worth ₹2,450 crore under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga’ project which will connect the state with the National Gas Grid.
Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, Governor Raghubar Das and Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, Government of India, were present at the function.
