MYSURU: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) launched an android-based mobile application ‘My Clean City’ to bring the corporation and the citizens of Mysuru closer to address the problems regarding the services and facilities.
K H Jagadish, Commissioner, MCC, said that they have opted for the app-route to understand the city better and address problems with the help of citizens who can share the problems in their wards with the use of this application.
Commissioner said that the citizens can lodge complaints about the problems related to roads like potholes, damaged or unmanaged street lights, damaged sewage pipes, damaged water pipes, dumping of solid waste, thefts of road assets, footpath encroachment, uncleaned animal carcasses etc., in real time and mark the same on Google Maps on the application for easy access by concerned authorities.
Naveen from the Future Design Technologies, the firm that developed the application, said that through the all-in-one mobile application, citizens can access details about roads maintained by the MCC. Citizens can access important location details shared by the MCC such as e-toilets, zonal offices etc. The citizens can also get driving assistance from Google through this application. Citizens can also get details about complaints assigned to the authority, he added.
