LUCKNOW: Ashutosh Tandon, Minister of Urban Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, directed Lucknow Development Authority, Lucknow Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department and Jal Nigam to repair the potholes in Lucknow before November 15. The order, dated Wednesday, September 30, is as per the directives of Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the state capital on October 5. The Minister asked civic officials to repair over 32 roads before the given timeline. The repair work will be mostly focused around the Amausi airport, VIP Guest House, VIP roads, Shaheed Path turn, Kanpur road to Kamta Shaheed Path, Hussadia to Indira Gandhi Pratishthan crossing, and Lohia Path to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
As a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Tandon also directed TMC to conduct a sanitation drive across the state on October 1, 2, and 3.
