LUCKNOW: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence, has decided to organize a three-day exhibition from August 26 to 28. The event will be held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the Ministry, the event will be divided into three sections namely the national exhibition, 75 innovative technologies, and the transformation of Uttar Pradesh. The host state will be featured prominently in the exhibition while emphasizing the state’s sanitation, basic infrastructure, pollution, urban transit, housing etc.
The event will also showcase the accomplishments of the Clean Urban India project which aimed at creating hygienic public spaces, improving the country’s waste management, eliminating open defecation etc. The event will also feature waster secure cities, the developments in Smart Cities, and the housing for all scheme.
