NEW DELHI: While major rural parts of norther India is dealing with the damage cause by swarms of locusts attack. United Nation’s specialised agency, Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) has informed that, its impact in cities including Delhi will not be felt, as the locusts will simply overfly the urban areas.
The specialised agency also inform that we should expect more attacks in July in several parts of Rajasthan with eastward surge across northern parts of country towards Odisha and Bihar, the movement of locusts will depend highly on the changing winds associated with monsoon season.
