NEW DELHI: Anil Baijal, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi inaugurated the renovated police kiosk at Khan Market on October 16, 2018. The kiosk is a joint effort of Delhi Police and NDMC. It will be provided with internet connectivity for online registration of FIRs regarding thefts of mobiles and other articles.
The transparent kiosk will be equipped with various online services of Delhi Police and other assistance at one point.
This modern hi-tech kiosk has been renovated by NDMC and is designed to be visible for public visiting the market.
The Delhi Police will look after the operational part of the Kiosk with round the clock presence of police officials.
A lady Public Facilitation Officer (PFO) will be available to guide and facilitate the public during daytime.
The NDMC will help in the maintenance of the kiosk.
Visitors will also find brochures on various online and offline services being provided by the Delhi Police.
Baijal appreciated the joint efforts of NDMC and Delhi Police for giving facelift and providing public-oriented facilities at the newly inaugurated police kiosk. It is expected to strengthen police-public interface.
