THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government of Kerala recently launched an Investment Facilitation Centre, with dedicated toll-free single window portal for the aid of investors. This call service is the upgraded version of the single-window clearance portal to make the investment process fast, effective, efficient and transparent.
Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister, Government of Kerala, launched the portal on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, via video conferencing. He also launched an e-newsletter by the name of “Investor Konnect”, compiled and published by the Department of Industries and Commerce. These projects are being implemented as a part of Invest Kerala 2020 campaign to develop the state into a better investment destination.
Vijayan said that the state has now become the preferred location for investment as addressed by some leading industrialists. He also added that the initiatives of the government have helped the state produce significant and concrete results. He was very confident towards resolving the unhealthy practices when he said that the disruptions by workers and other limitations have been addressed effectively.
1800 890 1030 is the toll-free number which investors can call on to ask for solutions to all investment-related queries. This service will operate in Hindi and Malayalam between 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM on all working days. This upgraded version of Kerala Single Window Interface for Fast and Transparent Clearance portal (KSWIFT 2.0), will reduce the hectic procedures of physical interaction for procuring the clearances and licenses.
