HYDERABAD, Telangana: Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao, announced initiatives worth ₹122.5 crore for the Suryapet district, including a publicly funded Polytechnic College for Women, a sports stadium, roads and construction of a guest house.
During his speech, CM Rao informed that ₹10 lakh each will be given from the Chief Minister’s Special Fund to 475 gram panchayats. Similarly, ₹25 crore each will be given to Kodad, Tirumalagiri, Huzurnagar and Neredcherla municipalities. Suryapet municipality, on the other hand, will be provided with ₹50 crore, in addition to ₹25 crore allocated to the municipalities to build a Kala Bharati auditorium in Suryapet.
The list of other initiatives announced by the CM includes Suryapet Government Medical College, an integrated vegetable and meat Market, Suryapet integrated district offices complex and BRS district office.
