INDORE, Madhya Pradesh: Indore Municipal Commissioner (IMC) Shivam Verma inspected the cleanliness system and instructed officials on the conservation of ponds.
Commissioner Verma visited the ancient stepwell in the Nyaya Nagar area. He also spoke with the local people and discussed the status of cleanliness and water supply in the area. Along with inspecting the cleanliness system in Zone 19, he also visited and inspected a pond in Bicholi Hapsi. He directed the officials to make fencing around the pond and clear its catchment area.
He came down heavily on the NGO, which has been given the responsibility to maintain the cleanliness in zone number 19. He also instructed the NGO officials to monitor the area to identify people littering the place with garbage and effectively penalise them.
Additionally, the commissioner also inspected the road construction sites. He visited the RE2 road connecting Bhuri Tekri to Nayta Mundla’s New RTO Building. He later visited the under-construction stretch of the MR 4 road from Bhagirathpura under the Railway Bridge via Lakshmi Bai Station.
