SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh government signed a memorandum of understand (MoU) with a Delhi based company Frontline Delhi in the presence of Jai Ram Takur, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, for the installation of 100 mw solar power plant in the state on July 16. Prabodh Saxena, Principal Secretary, MPP and Power, signed the MoU on behalf of the state government whereas Dr Sanjay Sinha, Chairman of Frontline, was signatory on behalf of the company.
The solar plant would be installed with an investment of Rs 700 crore and would be providing employment opportunities to over 700 people.
Dr Shrikant Baldi, Additional Chief Secretary, Pushpesh Singh, Managing Director, Frontline Delhi, and Aditya Sinha, Director, Frontline Delhi were also present on the occasion.
