GURUGRAM: In a meeting held on Friday, June 28, Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL) officials discussed with the Resident’s Welfare Association (RWA) members of Kendriya Vihar the options to promote the city’s bus service amongst the 9,000-10,000 residents of the society. The GMCBL team, with Ashok Kumar Bansal, CEO, at their helm, described the effectiveness and facilities of the bus service to the citizens and called for maximum use of the same.
Officials said that the residents of Kendriya Vihar society can use Gurugram bus service routes 116, 112, 134, and 212, for commuting to Rajiv Chowk, Medanta Hospital or the DC Office. Arun Sharma, general manager, GMCBL, said, “For any public service to pick up steam and become useful, the public needs to be made aware of the benefits of the service. We are also considering planning outreach activities in the future so people know how best they can use the bus service.”
In turn, the citizens of the society have agreed to put up banners at the main gate of the society.
