NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India is going to organise Ganga Quest, an international bilingual (Hindi and English) online quiz on Ganga. The aim of the program is to spread awareness about Ganga, water conservation, biodiversity and environment. In Jharkhand, State Mission for Clean Ganga, Urban Development and Housing Department will be responsible for conducting the quiz.
Registration for Ganga Quest 2022 has been started by the Jal Shakti ministry. Anyone interested in taking part can register on the link online and can participate online as well. The only eligibility criteria is that the participant should be at least 10 years of age. Because of the large age bracket of the participants, three categories- students up to class VIII, students from 9th to 12th, and anyone after 12th class. The final quest will be held on June 5 (World Environment Day) among the first, second and third place holders selected every week.
