PUNE, Maharashtra: The third meeting of the G20 Digital Economy Working Group’s (DEWG) meeting concluded in Pune. ‘Digital Public Infrastructure’, ‘Digital Skilling’, and ‘Cybersecurity in Digital Economy’ were some key priority areas discussed during the three-day meeting.
The meeting consisted of a series of events, including a Global DPI Summit and a Global DPI Exhibition, which were held as side events. Closed-door meetings of G20 delegates also took place during the three-day event. Global DPI summit recorded in person participation of over 250 delegates and over 2,000 attended virtually.
Also, India inked MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) with four countries, including Armenia, Sierra Leone, Suriname and Antigua and Barbuda, for sharing INDIA STACK, a digital solution successfully implemented at a population scale.
Various cultural programmes were also organised during the meeting, and delegates were introduced to Indian culture cuisines, arts, yoga and folk arts.
