NEW DELHI: East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has launched the notion of an e-library to allow elementary school pupils access information pertaining to their syllabus at any time. It includes Hindi, English, Math, EVS, and Social Studies worksheets and audio-videos. It also has information on resources for early childhood care and education.

On Monday, Vikas Anand, Commissioner, EDMC officially opened the facility. Log-in credentials are required to access these resources for school leaders, instructors, and students. Because kids are unable to attend regular lessons as a result of the epidemic, the facility is expected to help around 2,25,000 students and 4500 teachers from 354 schools. EDMC created a unique website for each school last month to enable parents learn more about the facilities offered at primary schools, especially those who want to enroll their children. The website contains information about online class instructors, students, employees, and infrastructure.

“It will also entail details on the number of rooms, washrooms, playground, teachers, their qualifications, activities performed, class-by-class syllabus, circulars, performance, and history. All websites are updated on a regular basis, and their links can be found on the EDMC’s newly launched management information system portal,” according to a senior EDMC official.
