PANAJI: All government departments of Goa will shortly have a consumer cell headed by a nodal officer for ensuring a better coordination with the public.
This decision was taken at a meeting of Goa state Consumer Protection Council chaired by Civil supplies minister Govind Gaude.
The meeting was attended by representatives of various government departments and consumer conciliation committee members including Goa Civic and Consumer Action Network Convener Roland Martins and civil supplies and consumer affairs secretary Rupesh Kumar Thakur.
