Dholera’s adoption of technology in Industrial Smart cities can be a model of success

AHMEDABAD: Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel applauded Dholera for its sustainable development and for adopting advanced technology in Industrial Smart Cities, making it a prominent model for success. Due to this initiative, Dholera emerges as an efficient and sustainable smart city for industries and investors.

At the Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Dholera exhibited its vibrant economy and technological advancements. Dholera aims to provide investment opportunities to several businesses and industries. Besides this, it has an extended aim of attracting maximum foreign investment and promotes the economic and sustainable way of living using the smart infrastructure. Moreover, Dholera aspires to become a testing ground for new technologies and innovations. At the event, Dholera displayed the importance of technological advancement and innovation, in order to improve city construction and in turn benefitting its citizens by expanding opportunities for them.

Towards the end of the Expo, Neelam Rani, Managing Director, Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb), Government of Gujarat, said, “Dholera aims to pave the way for the next industrial revolution in Gujarat, as the industrial smart cities are considered as a gateway to fuel the economies of developing countries like India.”
