NEW DELHI: The Delhi Government has undertaken a project which will provide the citizens of the city who wish to install CCTV cameras outside their residence after submitting an “undertaking” for providing the monitoring device with power from their own electricity connection.
The government has announced an installation of a total of 1.4 lakh CCTV cameras across the city for ensuring women safety. The Delhi government officials in their respective, are distributing a form titled “undertaking” among people who want to install a CCTV camera at their residence.
Around 2,000 cameras will be installed in each of the 70 constituencies in the capital.
